MSB008204 Firewood Sale

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (Borough) Land & Resource Management Division is proposing to permit firewood harvesting from decked timber on Borough owned parcel tax ID 18N01E30B002. The parcel is located about 1.5 miles northwest of Wasilla off E. Paradise Lane and E. Foxtrot Avenue. The firewood sale is intended to remove all decked trees within the footprint of the future Paradise to Foxtrot road connection and traffic improvements to Shaw Elementary. Access to the designated firewood harvest areas may be along E. Paradise Lane and/or Foxtrot Avenue.  This proposed firewood harvest area is near Shaw Elementary School. The firewood harvest must be completed prior to the startup of school this fall.
